Proposed Amendments to Chapter Bylaws

This past August, ASSE members made the historic decision to change the organization’s name to the American Society of Safety Professionals.

ASSE members voted to amend Society bylaws to reflect the new name. As a separately incorporated entity, our chapter needs to hold a separate chapter member vote to change the name in our bylaws, as well.

National Safety Stand-Down Member Toolbox – 2017

With the national safety stand-downs a month or so away the Chapter is offering up some tools you can use. These are provided by our members but you are free to use and edit. Some are serious, some are fun but all are useful.

Please capture and send along any photos you may get during your national safety stand-downs and we would be happy to share those too! Hudson River Valley ASSE Chapter Receives Gold Level Award

The Hudson River Valley ASSE Chapter was the recipient of the Above and Beyond Gold Level Award for  2013-2014 Awarded by the ASSE.  I want to thank the Board and all its members for assistance in achieving this recognition.    We would also like to thank Crystal Turner WISE Chairperson for attend the ASSE conference and receiving our award.
